EXPERIENCE MINDFULNESS DIFFERENTLY

Join us in the serene Hunter Valley for our monthly picnics, held in small, intimate groups for a relaxed and personal atmosphere. These events are designed not just for relaxation but to engage your senses and social connections through diverse and scientifically-supported mindfulness practices - with a little food and wine on the side!

Your Ticket Includes:

  • 3 hours of science-based meditations and creative mindfulness activities including -
  • A slow-art exploration of artwork by Hunter Valley artists
  • A creative journaling session: start a gratitude journal and take it home to continue your practise
  • A guided mindful food tasting of Hunter Valley wines and delicious food
  • Plus! You'll receive a gift bag of locally-produced delights valued at $40

All this set on the stunning historic property of The Old Punt House, led by a professional health and wellness educator and accredited meditation guide.

DETAILS OF THE DAY

Nestle into Comfort: Imagine yourself sinking into plush cushions and soft rugs, surrounded by the soothing embrace of nature. For those who prefer a different seating arrangement, simply let us know when booking. We're here to ensure your comfort is paramount.

A Menu of Mindful Moments: Over the next three hours, your guide will take you through a diverse landscape of meditations and mindful practices. We'll engage with local art, explore nature with our senses, have some fun with creative mindfulness exercises, and learn about the science behind the practice.

Digital Detox: Dive deep into tranquillity by switching off your phone, allowing the digital noise to fade away. This is your time to connect, undisturbed, with the here and now.

Reflect and Share: In this safe and supportive space, you're invited to share your reflections and connect with fellow participants, though the choice to share is always yours.

Mindful Tasting: Our journey concludes in a small tasting session, where you'll mindfully savour samples of local foods and wines. This intimate tasting is designed to awaken your senses and deepen your connection to the present moment, celebrating the simple elegance of our region's flavours.

A parting gift of local treasures: As our gathering concludes, you'll receive a goody bag with locally made delights. These surprise items embody the Hunter Valley's spirit and are offered to you as a gesture of our thanks for visiting our beautiful part of the world.

Location - please note bookings must be purchased prior the event. No tickets will be sold on the day.

Please park on the street opposite the Old Punt House at 9 Martins Creek, Paterson. Your guide will greet you at the gate and lead you to our secluded retreat under the majestic canopy of the Williams River gum trees. In wet weather, our mini retreats take shelter on The Old Punt House's inviting deck.

*Please note: The Mindful Picnic is for 18s only due to the presence of alcohol, and events proceed with a minimum of 4 participants.
